Recognition for Efforts Given

In Team 54's conquest, 155 members from 55 different countries served as the tip of the sword. Team 54 was was able to stand strong being outnumber by more than 3 to 1 largely because of it's "Mighty Men of Valor" whom represented in at least 10 of the first 13 matches (vs. Team Romania, Team Philippines, TURK CHESS PLAYERS, D` CHESSBOMB, Pinoy Chess Philippines, Chess Warriors, Team Europe, Team Italia, Spartan Warriors, Burning Pawns, KING OF KINGS, 420 Chess Club, Team Asia).

Charging Ahead of the Competition

In the first battle, Team 54 was the first to lock it's roster against every team, except for two. Locking your team's roster first allows the other team to stack the deck; so for this second battle, Team 54 is going to wait until they first lock up. In the meantime, Team 54 will be charging forward onto its third battle.

Team 54 vs. Team Romania Update

All battles lines have been locked in the Team 54 vs Chess.com conquest. The first team to step out was Team Romania and this match is going to be close, right down to the end. The top 18 pairings favored Team Romania; however, in the end, 45 of the 87 pairings favored Team 54. It took a total team effort to make this possible but my hat goes off to those 18 that stood up to Team Romania's elite (GEORGIOS2010, niro89, sammirns, Geezer02151, Javi1970Barcelonista, hamada0103520668, DemoIsmoe, Flashback888, philbertsky , Black__Knight, leoz08, Cheryl88, acebai, hamedqm , th3doctor, ibenz, harianja_pr , Gromlini).
